Good Morning Everyone!
I am so excited to share with you my progress this month pertaining to my goal : To Drink a minimum of 128 oz. of water a day.
Yes you read that right, 128 oz.
So far, I have been working on this goal for 15 days, and boy have I experienced some changes. One of the biggest accomplishments since starting this goal is I no longer need coffee in the morning to function! I used to get to work, and drink a minimum of 2 cups of coffee to get me going, but for some reason I no longer need it. I find myself wanting the cold water first thing.
The second change I have noticed is my stomach is feeling better. Before I started drinking my water every day, my stomach almost always was upset by bed time. Now I am not having digestive issues and feel so much better. Also, to make things even better, my pants are fitting better. I do not know if this is because I am not bloating or if the water intake is causing me to loose weight, but either way I like it!
The third change I have noticed is my skin. I have always had acne and oily skin. However, since drinking my water, my skin is clearing up and seems to have a better color to it. Now I hardly wear any makeup. It is amazing and my morning routine is that much quicker!
So big changes are happening, all I believe for the better. The only downside is I go to the bathroom more often, but I am not always in the bathroom. It is not inconvenient or a problem.
So at this point you may be wondering how I am keeping track of my water intake. Some of you may know about this app, but I did not. It is called iHydrate. You can download the app here. I love love love this app. It is super easy to use, and you can link it up with other apps and fitness software. This app allows you to set a goal, and plug in your beverage intake. It then color codes your progress in a pie chart and list the times you drank what in a list below the pie chart. Also another great thing this app does is it will place your weekly or monthly progress in a line graph. You can see this in the picture below. See super easy and very helpful. It even allows you to share your progress in Twitter or Facebook. Or you can email your results to yourself to keep a working spreadsheet. (My inner organizational monster cheers!)
I am so excited to continue to use the app and continue drinking my water. I really am looking forward to see the progress I have had by the end of June.
