So I have my results for my 128 oz Challenge! If you did not get the chance to read my first post about my challenge, you can check that out here.
So as you can see, I was not perfect. Some days I did not reach my goal, but other days I went over it! Here are some of my physical results.
Overall, I feel better and I sleep better. My acne has almost completely cleared up, and my skin feels more taunt. So as far as I am concerned, definitely worth it. Since I got such great results, I have decided to continue using the iHydrate app, but instead of 128oz/day, I am reducing my intake to 100oz/day.
According to WebMd, a person should be drinking half an oz to 1 oz for every pound you weigh depending on the climate you live in and how much physical activity you participate in. You can see the original link to this article here.
In my case, I weigh 129 lbs. So I would need to drink somewhere between 64.5oz to 129oz of water a day. Since I am not currently participating in a lot of physical workouts/activity, but I do live in Texas and it is definitely hot, 100oz a day is a happy medium to make sure I stay hydrated.
I am super excited about how well this has worked for me, and I am very interested to see what changes happen/occur in the future. You should give it a try! Heck it may change your life!! Or in my case, be a gateway for more positive change.
